  Since the introduction of the Duotone Rebel SLS, this kite has been on the rise. In the big air segment, the Rebel SLS is starting to dominate. Where the Rebel used to be a somewhat boring kite, the Duotone Rebel SLS 2023 is anything but that! The Duotone Rebel SLS 2023 is a kind of Rebel 'on steroids'. Speed, lift, hangtime and kiteloops have all been upgraded with due to the Duotone SLS construction.
  
  The Duotone SLS construction makes a kite stronger, lighter and therefore simply better! The SLS construction of the Duotone Rebel consists of a combination of Penta TX dacron, Trinity TX canopy and Flex Struts. Penta TX dacron is used on the Leading Edge and three of the middle struts. The Penta TX dacron tears 5 times less quickly, is 50% stiffer and 15% lighter compared to standard dacron. Because a full Penta TX construction made the Rebel SLS so stiff, and therefore difficult to steer, Duotone made the outer struts of Flex Strut material. This ensures that the kite can deform well and the Rebel SLS therefore has a surprisingly fast steering behavior for a five strut kite. The cloth is made of Trinity TX material. This canopy comes from Teijin and is supplied exclusively to Duotone. The fabric uses a 3X2 ripstop for the best possible combination of stretch and stiffness.

The five strut construction acts as a kind of solid skeleton of the Rebel SLS, which keeps it very stable. In addition, the light bar pressure and the mega good depower, provide control at all times. If you want to adjust the bar pressure or the steering speed, you can do this on the tips of the Duotone Rebel SLS 2023.
